During winter nestle inside with reverse cycle air conditioned comfort and sip a glass of local wine, or enjoy a meal on your verandah during the warmer weather. Our property is adjacent to the lovely Diamond State Forest, giving you the opportunity to enjoy bush walking, bird watching or viewing the wildflowers in season; or you might take the opportunity to climb the Diamond Tree Lookout which is a two hour return walk from your cottage.
There is certainly no shortage of great things to do and see, both on our property and nearby. We are 10 minutes drive to Manjimup and 12 minutes drive to Pemberton. We are within 5 to 20 minutes drive of most of the local wineries and tourist attractions. An hour"s drive to Walpole will take you to the Treetop Walk and Valley of the Giants. An hour in the other direction will take you to Windy Harbour, Northcliffe and the D"Entrecasteaux National Park where you will see beautiful views from the cliffs high above the ocean. These little jaunts can be a pleasant half day tour.
