Enjoy the central location of Winter-Rose Cottage:walk to CBD and restaurants. It is situated close to sporting fields, showground, university, the famous Mt Panarama race track and motor museum, the Aquatic Centre, churches and reception centres, and clubs.
Here to see the area? Bathurst is the ideal base from which to visit the rest of the Central West of NSW. Visit Minerals and Fossil Museum, art gallery, lovely Victorian and other architecture or take a walk around the river.
Explore further afield by car, meander through the historic villages of Carcoar,Milthorpe, Sofala, Peel,Tarana (have lunch at the pub),Japanese Gardens in Cowra,Zoo at Dubbo,wines in Mudgee, caves of Janolan or Abercrombie Caves.
There is so much to see that you will need to stay a week and we can offer you weekly rates.

This is a free standing cottage in the garden which can cater up to 4 with a queen bed, a single and a fold out.
There are tea making facilities, crockery and cutlery, There is a/c, heating, electric blankets, TV, DVD, mags, and books, games and a verandah. It can be B&B or if you prefer more independence, or you are staying for a longer period, you may prefer self catering.

This twin room (with private bath room) has two three-quarter brass beds with electric blankets and doonas. These antique beds are over 100 years old and had been rescued from under a collapsed garage. The private bathroom is right next door.
There is a private sitting area in the room or guests may wish to use the lounge with TV, video and reading matter. It is lovely in front of the wood fire in winter. Books, magazines and games are available. Ashtray provided outside.
