Mayfield Motel is only a 2 minute walk to the local club for good meals (moderately priced) & pokies and opposite Woolworths Warabrook; 5 minutes drive to Newcastle University, Mater Hospital, Hamilton TAFE and Mayfield Superstrike (tenpin bowling).

Only 10 minutes away is John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle CBD, beaches & Harbour Foreshore, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Energy Australia Stadium (home of the Newcastle Knights), with Stevenson Park right behind us (for volleyball, softball, etc.).

Within 15 minutes you will find 3 major shopping centres: Stockland Jesmond, Westfield Kotara, and Charlestown Square.

We are only 20 minutes from Newcastle Airport, which runs a shuttle bus service to the suburbs and CBD.
