To the North and East, just a short 300mtr walk, are Story Bridge, Brisbane River and a multitude of restaurants in China Town, Fortitude Valley. To the South, a few minutes walk is Queen Street Mall, Central Rail Station and the City Centre. The area is idyllic and picturesque for walkers and joggers. The Story Bridge walk is a 2km round trip and Botanic Garden is 3kms.
Republic Apartments is directly above Spring Hill Shopping Centre, which includes the local Woolworths, Baker’s Delight, Amcal Chemist, Subway, Nokia Care Centre, Turbot Street Newsagency, Vintage Cellars, the award-winning Tognini’s Bistro Cafe Deli and even the Spring Hill Dentist, plus several other outlets.

Ideally located in the CBD, it's a 5-minute walk to Chinatown with its myriad of restaurants and cafes, or a leisurely 10-minute stroll to the Queen Street Mall. A 5-minute walk is Brisbane River Citycat ferry, giving easy access to the Southbank Parklands - or for those feeling a little more energetic a 20 minute walk will get you there.
