Hagley TAS 7292
View all Launceston/North East hotels
Quamby Estate is a picturesque country estate 20 minutes from Launceston, in northern Tasmania. The estate features a superb nine-hole golf course and magnificent heritage-listed homestead that has been converted into a boutique lodge.
Embrace the romance of days gone by without compromising today’s modern comforts.
Guest rooms have been impeccably restored in keeping with the home’s original features, but without compromising modern-day luxuries. Modern bathrooms, luxury bedding and flat screen televisions are just a few of the new additions. The homestead also has a magnificent billiard room, drawing room and dining room.
Set in 64 hectares, Quamby Estate is located near the township of Hagley, just 20 minutes’ drive (29 kilometres/18 miles) from Launceston. It is the perfect base for exploring Launceston and its surrounds; the historic townships of Deloraine and Westbury with their many art and craft shops are nearby; the vineyards of the Tamar Valley are less than an hours’ drive away; and the Cradle Valley is a natural next stop.
