Port Huon Cottages have been designed with our guests' desires and comfort uppermost in mind. Our nine one and two bedroom cottages all have spectacular views over Port Huon Bay and the Hartz Mountain Range. The Cottages are fully self contained each with its own balcony and BBQ. We are central to the Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves and all major attractions in the Huon Valley.
The Huon Valley
has been known for its Apple and Timber Industries since settlement in Tasmania in the mid 1800's. In more recent years it has gained a reputation for fine food and wines. The Atlantic Salmon Industry is also gaining world wide recognition for it's quality products. Things to do: The cottages each have its own balcony and barbecue. Port Huon Cottages are located in the centre of the Huon Valley on the banks of the beautiful Huon River with major attractions such as the Tahune Forest Airwalk and Visitor Centre, Hastings Caves and the Thermal Pool as well as many boutique wineries all within approximately one hour’s drive from your cottage door. Our cruise vessel “Free Spirit” operates in our protected waterways from the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to our north, Bruny Island to our east or the magnificent Recherche Bay to our far south. So come south and spoil yourself at Port Huon Cottages – you deserve it!
