Start the day with a cooked breakfast including homemade jams. For in-house guests your breakfast will be cooked for you. It is possible to have dinner cooked for you by by prior arrangement. Dinner is served in the dining room, which has beautiful views over the Derwent River, the Tasman Bridge and Mt Wellington; or, in the sun room which overlooks the pool area and the garden.
Inside: in-house guests have the use of the sun filled conservatory that overlooks the pool and gardens, and of the cosy guest lounge. In the cooler months, enjoy a tea, coffee or port in front of the wood fire. Read a book or magazine from our collection, play a game from those provided, watch TV or a dvd from our collection.
Outside: guests can take a dip in the in-ground, solar heated, salt water pool (summer only); enjoy a BBQ in the pool area; or just relax amongst the roses and shady trees in the garden.
Guests have private,off street parking some of which is undercover.
We would appreciate guests contacting us about their proposed check in time so that we can be sure to be here to welcome our guests. Small Bed and Breakfasts do not provide 24 hour reception and owners are not always able to be present all day long. Early (8 am to approximately 3.30 pm) and late check-ins (after 6 pm) can be organised but only by pre-arrangement.
