Mercure Hotel Windsor They told me that I had been upgraded to a delux double room but when I walked in I thought the beds were two king singles. OK if youo and your partner are very small people. I am not overly big but that was ridiculous. So I complained and they moved me to a queen sized room - stained carpet, stained walls and stank of smoke. Terrible. The first night, not so bad, came back to hotel very late so didnt notice much. Out early, back by 4 pm then it hit me. Went to sleep that night and it rained during the night, the racket from the rain was incredibly loud, so was the all night music from the night club next door... still going at 7 am... I would have enjoyed backpackers accom better.. And it wasn't cheap... Ratings
