Good hotel, but better value can be found elsewhere My wife and I stayed here in July 2010. Overall, we were happy with our short stay. We were given a room on the top floor, riverside which provided a nice view towards the Brisbane CBD and over South Bank. The size of the room and the accompanying balcony was a nice surprise, bigger than we expected. We stayed at the 'City Lights' rate which included valet parking, breakfast and a bottle of wine. We did have to call to remind room service to bring the wine which I thought was a bit disappointing, but otherwise the service of the staff here was good. The breakfast provided a good selection, as you would expect for a hotel of this standard. We'd probably stay here again, although having stayed at a number of Brisbane hotels in the last few years, I think there's better value for money elsewhere. Ratings
