Room 406 - 7/8 October 2011 On our arrival around 4.00pm on Fri 7th Oct our check-in was OK. When we got to our room, I read the info on the Key Holder Card which suggested "we take a moment to browse through the Guest Directory". I looked everywhere for the Guest Directory and could not find it. I phoned Reception at 4.30pm and asked for one, to which he replied it will be delivered to our room shortly. I phoned again at 5.00pm and was told it would be delivered soon. At 5.30pm it was still not delivered. At 5.45pm I phoned Rec. and was told it would be delivered by a dining room staff member, but they were very busy in the Dining Room and it would be delivered soon. We met our friends, who were also staying at the hotel, in the Bar for a drink at 6.00pm and on looking in at the Dining Room, there was not one person dining there at that time. I was absolutely disgusted with the lack of respect for a paying guest. How hard was it to send someone up to an empty room and remove a guest directory. Ratings

"Great place to stay"
Apr 04, 2011 Happy camper, AustraliaThe Hotel Watermark in Brisbane has got to have the best beds for sleeping. The service was friendly and welcoming and I was able to get a room on short notice.

Terrible hotel, terrible service, Bad management. more like a motel! dont stay here!!! On arrival there was no one working in reception, we had to wait 10 minutes whilst trying to call the hotel from our mobile. - no towels in the room - the room was old and more like a cheap motel. - the hotel double charged my card for the room even though we had paid already through need it now. - credit card deposit was not returned and at time of writing still has not been returned. - the hotel does not respond to emails and phone staff don't seem interested enough to even apologize. NEVER AGAIN WATERMARK. Disgusted! Ratings
