Very comfortable, clean and well run smaller hotel The Hotel is well situated within walking distance to the City, and of transport (rail and bus). There are good quality and reasonablly priced coffee shops/cafes within a 5 miknute walk, plus a 24 hours convience store. The hotel reception is open 24hours and taxi arrive on time - thanks to the helpful staff. Breakfast Room and Breakfast Bar was clean, excellent variety, and the fresh fruit salad was FRESH and seasonal and the hot food was HOT and not overcooked. I will definitely stay there again. Ratings

Nice place to stay. This is a very nice hotel that is situated right across from the roma st parkands less than a 10 min walk to the train station and 15 mins to queen street mall, staff are friendly and all ways ready to help you. The room had a clean fresh smell to it, although the i found the bed and pillows were too hard for my liking but just right for my partner, the room lighting wasn't the best unless you are sitting at the desk or using the bathroom mirror, Shower is big enough for two. Great view from the balcony, mini bar had a good range of treats pricing from $3.50 for chocolates and nuts to $8.50 for beers and pre mixed drinks. The restaurant was nice and charming, the food was amazing and at a great price too. Cost of breakfast was over priced. The pool looked very clean but we didn't try is cause of being winter. Ratings

Hotel Watermark Brisbane Our overall impression of the Watermark was very disappointing. Arriving at the hotel, we found that despite having requested a non smoking room, the room allocated to us had obviously had smokers in it. We had to leave the balcony door open (depite the fact that it was mid winter) to get rid of the smell. The bathroom was incredibly mouldy, and not just surface mould. This looked like it had sat for months. The wine glasses in the mini-bar were dirty. The curtains were stained and actually had holes in them. (You could see this when they were drawn and the morning sun shone through) I would not return to the hotel, and would most definitely not recommend it to anyone. If we had wanted to stay in a dive, we would have spent less money. Ratings
