Marriot Excellent, Need it now not so! When attempting to check- in, there was absolutely no record of my booking through Need-it-now. I had to go to my laptop and forward the confirm email that I received from Need-it-Now to the Marriot reception. Speaking with the Marriot Staff, it would seem this does happen sometimes. That is why I prefer to book on line direct with the venue. Apart from that the service at the Marriot was excellent, especially from the Person at reception. Ratings

Hard to beat - hard to find! A beautiful hotel and a very special luxury experience. (Apart from restaurant staff person who was not very attentive and left us unserved to get our own coffees before they got cold in an almost empty restaurtant). The only drawback with the Marriott is that, for newcomers to the city, is is so hard to find! Even the hotel staff themselves admitted this. We spent 1/2 hr driving up and down Queen and Adelaide Rds before we finally, accidentally, found it. Not good in busy Brisbane traffic. Ratings

Wonderful The room was spotlessly clean, the two little pillow choccies were a welcomed sight. There was a huge television in the room and the bathroom was well lit and very pleasant. The best feature of the room was the enormous king sized bed that you could sleep sideways in and have to coo-ee to find your way out of. The restaurant, while only offering a limited menu had very tasty food, the seafood buffet being $75 per person was well worth it, the amount of seafood was astonishing. Well worth the trip Ratings
