"Good location, great river view, but a bit tired"

Good location, great river view, but a bit tired Geat location, standard room - no suprises - nothing different or memorable about the room but exactly what you would expect from the Mercure chain. Clean but getting a bit tired. There was an odd smell in the room too. Pool and sauna are not much to write home about. Staff were just okay. Ratings

The room looked tired the bed was ok the view was great though !!! The bathroom was very well used and once again for the dollars was not good!!! Wont be staying there again !! Was a disappointed stay !!! Ratings

mostly good We opted for this hotel because the website advertised a pool and sauna. Both were closed for the 3 nights we were there. The staff at the reception and the concierge in particular were very professional. The room was OK and on the top floor there was very little traffic noise however the exhaust in the bathroom went constantly and during the night with no competing noise was irritating. We got a good deal through this website so we were mostly satisfied. Ratings

River View Room The river view room, whilst having an excellent view of the Brisbane river, was smaller than I had expected. As well as being small, I thought the room was looking a bit tired. It was a busy weekend (riverfire celebration), but I thought the room was overpriced compared to the rates being charged for other comparable hotels I have stayed at. I would only rate the hotel 3 star. Ratings
