From the airport to the airport. The hotel has a small bar with one beer on tap, a limited range of bottled beverages and a seating area that doubles as an internet lounge. If your idea of a pleasant evening is sitting amongst computer screens, this is the place for you. The restaurant is a cold, clinical box with all the ambience of an airport departure lounge. Pricing seems predicated on groups of business travellers spending someone else's money. The only alternative is a walk to the Story Bridge Hotel - not uncomfortably long but a number of other hotels at Kangaroo Point are closer. To make matters worse it took me forty minutes to get from the CBD to the hotel in evening traffic. This is a large functional hotel with heavy emphasis on the functionality. I'd also check that they have finished the extension building work. We were welcomed with heavy drilling 8 am every morning. Ratings
