Review of Novotel Oasis Cairns Check in & check out process was very fast & efficient. I had heard the hotel had recently been refurbished but the room I had didn't look like it had been. Bathroom had loose tiles in the shower area. I ordered room service, it was delivered promptly. I had the Mizuna tasting plate for mains and dessert. It was a selection from the buffet and while the food was great the price of $29 (mains) & $11 ( dessert) were a bit expensive considering they just had to take it from the buffet. Ratings

The breakfast had so much variety and the dinner .. well went very well with our wine. Excellent time there. See you there next time. Ratings

Been to better Had a few problems with the staff communication.Had to repeat quite a few times that we had breakfast included,as no one seemed to keep a record of it. Room was ok. Lovely comfy bed, nice tv but we asked for batteries for tv remote but never got any. Bathroom was a little dated and very small, but clean. Had better breakfasts not much selection for the price they charge. Some parts were refurbished as stated but the majority was not. Ratings

Novotel Cairns I made a booking for 3 nights through the minimum two night stay upgrade package through need it now and when we arrived we were told we would not have the upgraded room for the 3rd night and would have to change rooms. We let the staff know we were very disappointed with this and on the 3rd day we were given the upgrade. We were not advised of this change and had to seek out whether the upgrade had taken place ourselves. Generally the cleanliness of our bathroom after the cleaners had been was also not satisfactory as the basin clearly had not even been wiped out. We have stayed at Novotel a number of times in the past, but this may be our last. Ratings
