"Everything I wanted"

Novotel Coffs - Bit Dissappointed I was a bit disappointed actually with the Novotel stay. The Room was nice but I am sure that I read that there was ocean views....we looked onto the back of the building in front. The Pool Bar wasn't manned/opened - I was looking forward to having a cocktail by the pool - didnt happen. There was no mini bar in the room (dont usually use it but thought this was a bit strange). There was room service plates left beside the lift, these were there when we checked in and when we left. The gym wasn't manned when I used it. Lucky I didn't need assistance. We went out Sat night and returned to have no carparks available under the building, we had to use the park up the side which had the large signs stating that vehicles were left at owners risk...not instillng confidene in the security of the place. My mother really enjoyed it but overall for the type of resort it was I wasn't that impressed. Not sure if I would stay there again so will say No for now. Ratings

Disappointed After a long trip, I was really looking forward to enjoying a night at the Novetel. Upon arrival, the front desk/check in staff did a great job, however it was down hill from there. The room was dark, no matter how many lights were on. The kitchen still had chocolate wrappers on the fringe, and the spa still had hair and good knows what in it, which killed the spa idea. The TV was a joke for the size of the room, a 48 cm in this day and age, come on. Dinner was poor, my order was lost for an hour, and when asked why, there was no forth coming explanation. The next day, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Later, I found that the Novotel decided to charge me $14 only to re credit me later. What's with that! Ratings
