Amber Court Motor Inn

The motel, now under new management, was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were friendly and we received the kind of country hospitality that is so hard to find in a lot of places these days. The meals were well cooked, just like mum used to make! We felt comfortable and welcome staying in this family owned and run establishment and would definitely stay there again.

What can I say? I was so not impressed with the room, towels, sheets and blankets were threadbare, the shower had not been cleaned, there was lould and cobwebs in it. The room smelt! It was not well signed on the highway and when we checked in we found out it had gone into receivership! Would not stay there again

When we arrived the manager was not there - he was shopping for strawberries for dinner. The towels in the bathroom had holes in them and were really thin. The room faced the highway and trucks went past all night (there were other rooms which did not face the highway). The dining room was freezing at as we were finishing our meal he came out and said that he had forgotten to turn on the heating in the dining room. All the other guests were really cold as well.
