Warning..don't depend on the airport shuttle Everything was perfect other than the shuttle to the airport. I was late getting to the airport because the first shuttle that came decided he didn't do international arrivals. The second shuttle that came said he didn't do international arrivals as well. It was 8:45 and I was starting to panic, on the schedule that the motel gave me for the shuttle it had 8:15 pick up. With both shuttle drivers just standing there doing nothing, I was starting to get frustrated. Finally one looked at me and said "its not my job, but I suppose I can take you". Finally got to the airport at 9:05pm, not happy. Ratings

Conveniently Close to the Airport I chose to stay at the Holiday Inn because of its proximity to the airport. The room was satisfactory as were the services rendered. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and I appreciated having different pillows to use. The shower/bath level was a bit strange. The step down from the bath onto the floor was lower than usual and could be a surprise if not paying attention. Ask for more milk containers for coffee if you like more than one per cup. Very few are provided. The hotel is very far from the center of town, in a largely industrial area, with very little to do close by. However it is only five minutes walk from the Mascot Station should you wish to go into town. The trip will cost you about $10.00. This hotel is definitely best suited for travelers needing a short stop over between flights. The hotel shuttle to the airport cost only $6.00, can be booked through the hotel, and gets you to whatever terminal you need. Ratings

Convenient location Perfect location with easy access to both the domestic and international airports by either taxi or airport shuttle. $12 from domestic Airport by taxi or shuttle for 2 people and same price for shuttle to international airport. We found the shuttle to be convenient, fast and easy with tickets available from hotel reception along with the timetable for pickup. Hotel had a nice relaxed restaurant and bar that served value priced meals and drinks, it even has a pokie room. We found this hotel to be a great place to stay when traveling by air into and out of Sydney. Ratings
