No Frills 1 night only accomodation
Very simple rooms. I probably wouldn't stay in a place like this any more than 1 night at a time. A little disappointing that I was promised river views from my room (in fact this site actually said there were river views from every room) this statement is not true and as we were put in a room at the back of the motel we couldn't see the river from there at all. We ordered a twin room which did have 2 beds (a queen and a single) but the single was situated behind a wall so you were unable to watch TV from your bed there. The other problem was the TV. They have the TV running off a set top box that seems to pick up static and make the TV picture go warped every time a truck went past and on this highway that was every few minutes. As I said before, for a 1 nighter, not to bad, but not for an extended stay in my opinion.

We decided not to stay after looking at the room
Having stayed at several 3 star motels on our way to Mildura we had high expectations for the Mildura Riverside Motel. Unfortunately, while the motel undoubtably provides the facilities required and commands an excellent view of the Murray River, the basics had been somewhat overlooked. The room's decor was dated and the bathroom was stuck in the 50's, both of which would be forgivable if the room was clean. Unfortunately the room was not clean. The room was dusty, with spider webs in the corners and several less popular insects. In addition to these points, the reception area was very dirty and uninviting.
