My stay at Piccadilly Apartments on Gover

I found the staff to be great, very helpful. The area is very quiet even though you are not far from the main street. It is close to the Women's and Children's Hospital. It is inexpensive and it is an apartment which gives you the opportunity to cook your own meals if you wish. It is basic and comfortable.

We had 3 very comfortable days. Close to city and plenty of eateries close by. Beds very comfortable. TV could do with updating. worth the money.

I stayed there overnight as i was going to visit the Adelaide Zoo the next day and I had to be back at the airport before 5:00 pm that day. The room only had a double bed, small square table with 2 chairs, a colour TV, some storage space,a desk near a power point with a chair for you to use your computer if you have wireless connection, the kitchen was a bit small as there was a small bar fridge and sink area all most opposite each other so there wasn't much room to walk around. The accommodation is self contained with a small amount of equipment that you can use. There are certain rooms with internet connection. I stayed there because I needed cheap accommodation overnight and I needed to be in the area. I would probably stay in the city next time depending on costs.

Disappointed

The room in general was clean, but as there are cooking facilities in the room the exhaust fan was black with fat and dust. As the room is on the flightpath it is very noisy with planes flying over. Light switches were not in reach of beds. I didn't feel I got what I paid for. There was no one in reception for the whole time we were there except to hand the key in on Monday morning. Disappointed in general.
