Uncomfortable holiday We spent a disappointing and uncomfortable 7 nights at this hotel in room 1207. If seeking comfort,you will not find it here. Despite their menu of pillows, we never received any that were anything other than old,tired and definitely past their use by date.Together with disinterest in attending to room service telephone requests, a leaking shower recess and cold water tap in the hand basin that leaked over the vanity surface, all in all, our stay was certainly not to be classed as a 5 star experience. Hotel Stay Hotel was very clean, nice and quiet with a central CBD location. Our standard room was very large and all room facilites were good including being able to choose what style of pillows we wanted. The air-con in the room was also effective and quite. Service in general was lacking from arrival until departure but as we were not needing to rely on this it did not impact too much on our experience. Over all we had a very good stay and we will stay again. Ratings

Mixed Bag Found it a mixed bag and not quite the consistency of service as from other 5 star hotels. We booked a smoking club room. On check in we were asked whether smoking or non-smoking. Once we got to the room, no ash trays, and on phoning reception was told there were no smoking rooms on club floors. The staff generally very good. It seems they are saving corners whenever they can. Rooms are a bit old and tired. Faciities are ok. Ratings
