PEACEFUL AND LOVELY ACCOMODATION We had a beautiful accomodation at Hunter Resort. We stayed for 2 nights...we had a good knowledge of wine with the oppurtunity of watching wine theatre and lessons from the wine makers..Its a nice and quiet location for a change. Besides, a very good restaurant in the arena.. The room was really a 4-star...the only thing lacking was a microwave. Thanks for the resort family. Good luck and all the best. Ratings

Peaceful and enjoyable stay Only one night in a Hunter cabin, which we found very comfortable. Enjoyed a relaxing bath before bed. Our dinner at the vineyard Restaurant on site was very good - the food and service were good, especially the Italian bread that came with our meal, and the setting was great looking out through the full length windows. 'Resort' is a stretch We stayed in the Hunter room, and don't get me wrong, it's a nice room, but it was really just like any motel I've stayed in. Bed, wardrobe, bathroom, and empty bar fridge. And they don't mention that you can't drink the water before you get there, which would've been nice to know as we would've brought our own. Reception staff was friendly and helpful and it was a decent room for such a last minute booking (two days prior). Avoided the restaurant as it had poor reviews on the eatability restaurant. Ratings

Hunter Resort An excellent location and place to stay. Thanks for need it now as the accommodation would otherwise not suit everyone's budget. The evening at the restaurant was quite disappointing as the head waiter was not very and left the cooking to two apprentice chefs whom did not cook the confi duck and steak as would have been expected. The waitress did a good job though. The wine tasting personnel was also very friendly and did a great job. Reception staff was not as friendly and customer service driven as would be desired. Ratings

The Hunter Resort - a last resort! I booked here because it had rooms available and was the only place I could find which allowed guests to stay one night. The staff were friendly and it was a convenient place to pick up the bus for the Hope Winery concert. The room/bathroom were clean and well furnished. The bed let the room down because it sagged in the middle. The water in the shower kept running hot and cold. Half the tubes of coffee available were empty (!) I would book it again if I couldn't get anything else but I thought it was a bit overpriced feeling more like a motel than a resort. Ratings
