Really enjoyed my stay

I particularly enjoyed my stay at Proximity, the managers were very nice people and typical genuine Aussies, even allowing me to repair a faulty light fitting seeing as I am an electrician. I found the apartment very well decked out, nicely built and very comfortable and quiet. If you are planning on a friday night stay just make sure you aren't too close to the RSL, it's a great establishment but somewhat noisy of a friday night till around 1-2am, not too bad but noticeable if your a light sleeper. I will definitely stay there again and the three weeks I had there were excellent. The gym is great too and if I'd had time I'd have used the pool too, it really is a great spot, I couldn't think of any downsides to staying there right near the beach and weekend markets. Greg and Marie do a great job of making you welcome, lovely people.

Comfortable but not Quiet!

We just wanted a quiet weekend break in comfortable surrounding. We certainly got the latter but the former was spoiled by the noise emanating from the RSL Club air cond exhaust system below our room. It was constant and very high. We could hear neither traffic nor people, just a dull roar. It made sitting on the balcony impossible. As a result we had to close the doors and turn on the air conditioning. We raised it with the managers (really nice people) who were going to take up the matter.
