beware the shower

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room clean, large and pleasant; the location was excellent. the windows even open. my only problem was the shower which, despite all my attempts, would only run either cold, or boiling hot. It was impossible to adjust. Roof top pool area gave wonderful night views.

Bathroom Issues

The room had everything you needed, however the shower was a mission to work out. Either extremely hot or cold and when we informed reception we were basically told we can't have been turning it on properly. The hotel was not willing to take any responsibility. The bathrooms were very compact. Also very noisy with inner city traffic even though we were on the 7th floor.

Park Regis City Centre

I stayed at the Park Regis over the Australia Day weekend on the 14th Floor (2nd top floor for the hotel) expecting that there would be no noise. Throughout the night every car (and car radio) and person talking on the street could be heard like they were just outside. There must be something wrong with the seals on their windows as every outdoor noise was coming inside. The rooms were small but neat. The best and only good thing about the place is the location. Would definitely not stay here again!
