Personalized service Having promoted the Old Sydney Holiday Inn for years as a US wholesaler, it was nice to actually stay in the property and see what was on offer. Rooms are comfortable enough. The aircond/heating vent needs to be updated as you can't tell what temp to get the room at the right temp. The lighting situation is weird, you can't just have the lamps on beside your bed.. it's full lights or lights out. The housekeeping was a bit weird, they wouldn't clean and refresh coffee cups by the bedside or on the counter, didn't really chuck away rubbish in the room (like open tea bags).. not sure they were trained on what to touch and what not to disturb of a guests. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful, Joanne or Joanna so helpful and really worked hard to get us an extra night in one of the rooms we had booked so we didn't have to move. Breakfast staff were attentive. Ratings
