Amora Hotel is OK

We booked the room on needitnow, but the room we booked suddenly was unavailable. They did give us another room (higher level) for the same price, only after questioned whether we could have it at the same rate. Overall, the hotel was very nice and clean and we would stay there again. Easy to walk from the train station and to the Rocks and Circular Quay and the Opera House.

Disappointing!

We were celebrating our anniversary and thought we would be getting 5 star luxury and plush accommodation - it wasn't. The foyer looks modern but the decor in the bedroom was basic and the tv very old fashioned. It was not cheap and no breakfast was included. Not value for money.

great cbd location

My girlfriend and I were attending an event at establishment. As we tend to travel everywhere by pushbike I decided to surprise her with an overnight stay at the last minute so we could arrive looking suitably glamorous. The Amora was our room for the night and we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff (who were unperturbed at storing a couple of bikes for the night), tidy, good sized rooms in a great CBD location. Enjoyed a very nice meal at Charr restaurant to finish the night off perfectly.

We discovered there were no shampoos or bubble bath which was disappointing as my wife does enjoy having a nice bubble bath, we also did not receive the morning newspaper even though we did request a paper.
