Great spot - ideal for families Stayed just one night, arriving after a big day out at Taupo Raceway. Enjoyed a couple of drinks on our balcony before heading to the pool with our 7 year old. We were looking forward to a cool dip so were surprised that the pools were heated to 38 degrees even at the height of summer. The bar beside the pool was very tempting however the music was very loud - too loud to be enjoyable (and we are only in our mid 30s!) - so we gave the bar a miss. Dinner at the a la carte restaurant was excellent. The duck entree and main were both sensational. The room was a standard twin room with two queen sized beds. Suitable for us with our 7 year old. Would definitely stay and dine here again. Ratings
