A Good Hotel Very Close To Buranda Rail and Princess Alex Hospital

This place was a good find, close to transport and the hospital I needed to visit. It was a short walk from the rail station (I caught the Airtrain from the airport, then switched trains to Buranda), was clean, quiet and competitively priced. The full breakfast was good and not expensive. Staff were friendly and happy to mind my bags before check-in and after check-out, so that I didn't have to take them to the hospital.

Clean, new and very comfortable

This place is virtually brand new and is impeccably clean and tidy. My studio room was on the small side, but very modern, with 32" LCD tv, good sized work desk, comfortable bed, and a huge outdoor deck. It was very quiet and the curtains did a good job of blocking the early morning sun (this can be a real problem in Queensland during summer because they don't have daylight saving). I appreciated the very quiet air-conditioner which could be left on a low fan setting overnight. The suburban location is probably best suited to travelers with cars (secure car parking) though it is within walking distance to a train station and very close to a main road.
